Notes From the Nerd's Notebook: Super Power Breakdown: Assailant

Good evening nerds, gamers, and geeks.

Today's power we will be discussing is the power of Assailant, which is a fate placed on those whom are known to steal, capture, conquer or destroy the world. Other names for Assailants are Corrupted Ones, Dark Ones, Destroyers or even Chaos Bringers. Well known assailants are Apep (Egyptian Mythology), Ganondorf (The Legend of Zelda), Satan, Surtr the Fire Giant (Nordic Mythology), and Nyralathotep (Chthulu Mythos) as seen in the photograph above.

Powers that come with being an Assailant are Dark Heart, Enhanced Combat, Supernatural Condition and Enhanced Senses, Evil Embodiment, Fear Masking, Indomitable Will, and sometimes Magic.

Such as with all powers and abilities, Assailant has a few limitations and weaknesses. Evil nature tends to be the downfall, as good always triumphs. Assailants are often times narrow-minded, as they only think about destruction and domination. And depending on their level of power, they may grow insane and unstable, dangerous to all as well as themselves.

Notes From the Nerd's Notebook: Super Power Breakdown: Lunar Manipulation

The power that is opposite to Solar Manipulation, the users of Lunar Manipulation can create, shape, and manipulate all aspects of a moon, including the gravity and it's overall effect on the planet as a whole, as well as its reflective surface, time-keeping, et cetera, and utilize its lunar energy. The moon's gravitational pull strongly influences the ocean tides, and the minute lengthening of the day. With the moon being the center of the users power, they may develop some sub-powers, which may include Lunakinetic Combat, Lunaportation, Lunar Healing, and even Moon Blocking. Since the moon and the Lunar Cycle are associated with emotions, lunacy, dreams and the subconscious mind, female fertility, blood, illusions, transformation, intuitions and repeating cycles, there are also powers that go in hand with knowing this ability; Blood Manipulation, Cycle Manipulation, Emotion/ Mental Manipulation, Fertility Inducement, Illusion Awareness/ Manipulation and et cetera, including Shapeshifting, and Transmutation.

As a result of having this power, training would cause users to develop more powers to compliment their primary ability. So powers that include Dust Manipulation, Earth Manipulation, Gravity Manipulation as it relates to ocean and water in general, Light Manipulation without the colors, because the moon's light usually only has variations of grey-white, Lunar Attacks, Lunar Constructs, Lunar Empowerment, Lunar Energy Manipulation, Reflection Manipulation, Time Manipulation, and Temporal Cognition.

Like the elements, even the moon manipulation powers have different variations; Dark Moon Manipulation, Esoteric Moon Manipulation, Lunar Embodiment, and Pure Moon Manipulation. Not only that, but this power ties into others, like Eternal Night Inducement, Darkness Manipulation, Lunar Mind, Magic, Vacuum Adaptation, and Ice Manipulation, since the moon has deposits of ice.

As with all powers, this one has a few limitations. For example, the availability of the users powers may depend or even be tied to the lunar cycle. So the peak of the users abilities may be active during the full moon, and they might even be powerless during the New Moon. Even during the special moons, such as The Blue Moon, or Blood Moon, the users powers may be supercharged to the point of reaching levels of transcendence. Another limitation depends on the distance, mass, precision and et cetera highly depend on the user's knowledge, skill, strength and the natural limits of the powers.

Notes From the Nerd's Notebook: Super Power Breakdown: Complete Body Strike

Complete Body Strike, hilariously enough, is less like a power and more like a martial arts technique, which is possessed by many users, though the most prominent user (via his frog kata) is the shinobi Naruto Uzumaki. The user of this technique can strike in such a way that by striking one part of the foe's body, the damage resonates throughout the entire body. For example, a blow to forehead would resonate throughout the entire body, dealing equal damage to the body as a whole.

Unfortunately, this technique might have physical consequences on the users body. Not only that, but it may also cause an unwanted amount of damage on the target. This technique is associated with the abilities of Combat Empowerment, Critical Impact, Damage Amplification, Energy Strike, Enhanced Combat, and Enhanced Strength.

Notes From the Nerd's Notebook: Super Power Breakdown: Mentifery

Mentifery is a powerful ability and honestly, it's one of my favorites. Mentifery is the ability to warp, shape and alter the very fabric of reality with a mere thought and based on the users imagination. With this, the user could change any minor thing about themselves, or change the entire universe. Hell, with this power, the user could create their own dimension and crown themselves God.

With this power under one's belt, they could literally do anything they could imagine. Mentifery is the purest and most powerful form  Reality Warping, as imagination is both rational and irrational.

There are, however, limitations with this and every power. Since this power is based on the user's mind, it will not be effective if the user is not in a peak mental state. Meaning if they're sick, tired, stressed, et cetera. A lot of training is required to keep this power under control, especially is they're like me and have over active imaginations; meaning if they don't have the necessary control, every little thought could run rampant and have devastating consequences. Last, but not least, the user cannot form and/ or create what they are incapable of imagining. Meaning if you can't picture your dream spouse, or dream life, then you sure as hell aren't getting it.
